Soft washing uses a low-pressure water spray combined with a carefully diluted sodium hypochlorite-based cleaning solution to treat and clean building exteriors. This professional-grade solution kills mould, algae, moss and lichen at their roots, preventing regrowth for much longer than simple water blasting.

How long will the results last?

Will you use harsh chemicals? Are they safe around plants and pets?
We use a sodium hypochlorite-based cleaning solution (the same active ingredient found in household bleach). Sodium hypochlorite naturally breaks down into salt and water when exposed to sunlight and air. We use it appropriately diluted and applied under controlled conditions. Our team pre-wets and rinses surrounding plants, and we take every precaution to protect your property and garden during cleaning and to minimise environmental impact.
Do I still need pressure / water blasting for my house?
For robust hard surfaces like concrete or stone, or for roofs with heavy embedded stains or tough lichen, pressure/water blasting may be more appropriate. Our soft washing service is ideal for more delicate exteriors.
